Funded Support:

We know it’s tricky to navigate what funded support is available as it’s a constantly changing landscape. So here are a few things to note for your diary where you can engage with Junction Point in the first few months of 2025…

• VODA Funders Fair: Tues 28th January
  We’ll be talking to people about exploring traded income streams as opposed to just grant funding
• Planning like a Pro for the new financial year: Tuesday 4th February
  This workshop is funded through Junction Point CIC’s surplus to offer planning support ahead of the new financial year to any purpose-driven organisation in the North East
• North Tyneside Business Factory support for Social Enterprises
  Up to 12hrs 121 coaching available for North Tyneside residents to explore social enterprise or registered social enterprises wanting to improve their traded income. Registered Social Enterprises can also access the social enterprise health check for free!
• Business with Purpose Accelerator programme launch: Thursday 6th February
  This support programme is for residents of Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside and Northumberland and includes access to:
  • Full day accelerator (inc lunch)
  • Tues 7th Jan – Tues 18th March weekly online Mastermind sessions
  • 121 coaching to get registered & apply for start-up funding

North East Changemaker Opportunities:

• By now, I’m sure you’re all aware of the FREE North East Changemakers community which includes access to a Facebook and WhatsApp group aaaaaaaaaaaaaand monthly newsletter tailored to your needs? If not, sign up here! 
• North East Changemakers Online Networking: 10.00-11.00 Thurs 30th January, Thurs 20th February and Thurs 27th March.
  This one-hour networking session includes a 15 minute guest speaker and 45 minutes of interactive activities to get you thinking and making relevant connections to you and your organisation. £10 per session or £5 per month subscription.
• Did you know we have our own mini podcast from the group too? You can check it out via YouTube or join the community to interact with the featured speakers.
• Coming soon! We’re recording our training materials now with the aim of going live in April! This will be a £20p/m subscription which includes the online networking as well as access to DIY training materials that you can access and complete in a time convenient to you.
