This project will provide Newcastle residents with expert support and seed funding in order to try out your change-making idea! We are looking for residents in Newcastle to develop new activities & projects to benefit their local area. Sign up here: https://forms.gle/ukVoyXvHt5ZPtTra9 .
Stage One: Let’s lay the groundwork and drill down those ideas! Workshops to help you identify the need for your idea, learn how to test your assumptions and start to dig down into the aims of your pilot. Explore skills to stand out from any competitors too!
Stage Two: Time to put your ideas into a pilot! Workshops on creating your pilot, identifying the resources you need, and creating your pilot budget and timeline.
Stage Three: Time to engage your audience and pilot participants! Discover different forms of engagement to involve your community and create a compelling pitch for your seed funding bid.
Stage Four: Time to deliver your pilot(s) and measure your impact! Review your pilot, learn from your delivery and start to explore the next steps like turning your pilot into a social enterprise, partnering with other organisations and more.

ARE YOU UNEMPLOYED AND LIVE IN GATESHEAD?
Taking Action Gateshead, funded by LA6 and Gateshead Council, (May-Dec 2022), in partnership with Reviving the Heart of the West End.
This project will provide Gateshead residents with expert support and seed funding in order to develop and trial their own social enterprise, explore volunteering and careers within the not-for-profit sector.
