GCO is a community based social enterprise which was originally founded as a café in a local council-run building. Originally set up as a working environment to produce realistic work placements for people with neurodiverse conditions and learning difficulties. During the pandemic the organisation was involved in providing hot cooked meals to pensioners, shielding, and provided a Fareshare market.
About Gateshead Community Organisation
How We Helped
Junction Point was engaged by Gateshead Community Organisation CIC to develop a celebration report of the activities and impact GCO had achieved since it began in 2018. This involved exploring existing materials such as funding reports, the website, social media accounts, and speaking to key staff and volunteers. The final report was graphically finished to a high standard, enabling easy interaction whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
What They Said About Us
“The flexible approach of Kate and the team allowed our organisation the freedom to utilise their services to best suit our need. It was very apparent from our first interactions with Junction Point that they really listened to us and the advice and solutions given were clearly well thought out and bespoke to Gateshead Community Organisation. The annual report produced for us was very professionally designed and full of useful, relevant facts and figures which Kate and the tea, managed to cream from the barrage of information we sent over. This report has been invaluable for the organisation and has helped with funding applications, showing stakeholders the progress of our social enterprise.”
